This week's theme-specific artwork, courtesy of Troggie. It's the Night Garden from the popular BBC kid's TV show, but it also features Alan Titchmarsh, Charlie Dimmock, and Monty Don. But they're all far more beautiful now, because they have my beardy face.

Behold thine field of #ThePlaylist, and see that it is verdent, for this week's edition has sprouted.

Our theme this week comes courtesy of @losttourist who wanted to hear YOUR favourite songs about:

Horticulture

So bust out your little trowels, and grab that foam pad you have to kneel on these days because your knees aren't what they used to be, and join in the fun.

It's designed to look like the now playing screen on a classic iPod, with the show info on the right side of the screen, and a photo of me on the left. It details that the show is broadcast on Mondays from 7pm until 9pm UK time.

NEXT WEEK ON #ThePlaylist, a guest theme from @losttourist@social.chatty.monster...

Here in the northern hemisphere, the nights are beginning to draw in, the temperatures are beginning to drop, so when better to choose the theme of:

Horticulture

We realise that you lot don't look like your average horti-bleedin-culturalists, but you surely know some songs about plants and trees and that. And no weed-shaming on our watch! Remember, a weed is just a plant you didn't grow on purpose!

Sow your suggestions in the fertile grounds of #ThePlaylistSuggestion, and let them grow into beautiful beanstalks, upon which my giant bot will gobble them all up.

This week's theme-specific artwork, which is the late '90s Top of the Pops artwork, but instead it says 'The Playlist'.

On this week's episode of #ThePlaylist...

Two weeks ago I admitted the terrible secret of my birth, and the disco banger that heralded it, which has led to wanting to hear your:

Birthday Number Ones

We weren't cruel though, and allowed you to pick from tracks that have attained the summit of Mount Pop on any of your birthdays, be they singles, or from albums. And there are some CRACKERS in the pile.
